Apparently Eric's hunch was wrong. Aaron "Project Mayhem" Maybin is going pro. This sucks. Maybin stepped in for the suspended Maurice Evans and never looked back. Maybin was dynamic in 2008, with 49 tackles, 12 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Maybin had 2 years of eligibility left. It would have been nice for him to use at least one of them. Both starting DEs are now gone from the defending Big Ten Champions. Josh Gaines is a senior and out of eligibility. If Maurice Evans jumps to the draft as well, there will be little experience returning at DE. Maybin will be replaced by Evans (if he stays) or Jack Crawford, Kevion Latham, or Eric Latimore.

hopefully that report is wrong...collegian is reporting that he's being very silent about it...though when you're silent that usually means you're going
