One Rich Russian

Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals just signed the richest contract in NHL history today at 13 years-$124 million. Wow. For the NHL, that's a pretty crazy contract, especially considering that Ovechkin didn't even use an agent and negotiated the whole deal himself (he's 22).

I want that one, and that one, and that one....

Not only that but more power to the Caps that they have a young star that actually wants to stay. Washington has been pretty bad lately and currently sit at 13th in the Eastern Conference (though only 4 points from the #8 seed). Either way, Alex definitely got his money.
