Eric Lindros, once touted as the next Wayne Gretzky, has officially retired from the NHL. I think I speak for all NHL fans (even those of the Flyers) when I say this: single tear. The punk refused to play for the Quebec Nordiques who drafted him, and then got traded to the Flyers. The Nordiques got a nice package in return that helped the franchise win Stanley Cups in Colorado. As for Lindros and the Flyers, he was well on his way to a Hall of Fame career in the late 90's, and then this happened:

Darius Kasparaitis, making things right. Clean hit, completely changed Lindros' career.
P.S. To Darius: We miss you in Pittsburgh. Please come back, or give Ray Shero the number of someone you know who has the same style.
