We Want the Lion

Kevin McGuire, formerly of Nittanydelphia (and the newly redesigned Macho Row), writes for Nittany White Out and brings up a topic that all Penn State fans can agree on: the Nittany Lion belongs in the Hall of Fame. As Kevin points out, yes, there is a mascot hall of fame.

Kevin is looking for help to make this grassroots movement take off an get our beloved Nittany Lion into the Hall (located in Delaware, of all places).

Here's what he is looking for:

Along with the nomination form we will need one good hi-res photo of the mascot. We will also need one three minute video of the mascot in action. The video must be in VHS or DVD format. We will also need supporting affidavits from local journalists in support of the Nittany Lion. That shouldn’t be too hard, right?

The deadline appears to be coming up fast though so let’s get cracking! Feel free to e-mail me if you want to help contribute to the cause, or leave a comment here. With your help we can make it an overwhelming decision to vote the Nittany Lion into the Mascot Hall of Fame.
