I just wanted to make a shout out to the football team at my HS Alma Mater. The South Brunswick Vikings have made the state playoffs for the first time since 1977. You would think at a school that has had a population of 2000+ (the school...not the town) for many years that at least one or two big stars would come through and at least bring SB to the playoffs at least once but no. I don't think they even had a .500 record when I was there. The prospect of making the playoffs even this year seemed bleak as the Vikings started out 0-3. However, they came through and won their last 5 games to go 5-3 and claim a playoff berth.
As a side note, looks like things might be turning around for the Pirates. The boys over at firejoemorgan.com seem to be in love with new GM, Neal Huntington. Check it out here: http://www.firejoemorgan.com/2007/11/this-is-amazing.html

Good to see you've moved on from the MAC to bigger and better things. I'm not even being sarcastic.
