Twitter is a wonderful thing for bloggers. Celebrities and athletes have embraced Twitter quickly and the microblogging site allows them to voice everything - what they're doing, a teams schedule, inside news and their thoughts and opinions. One of the first athletes to Tweet was Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal. "The Real Shaq" had something nice to say about a foe he usually is spewing acid at.
OK, so he said he'd say it only today but still. I don't think that kind of sentiment was expected of the big man. The Lakers host the Magic in the 2009 NBA Finals, where Kobe Bryant will look for his fourth ring as O'Neal alluded to.
