Apologies for the lack of recent posts from yours truly. I've been introducing my mother to the finer points of Penn State football this weekend.
However, I wanted to pop in quickly to echo EEW's "holy crap." That Stanford score completely snuck up on me. I knew it was close but I thought USC's lead became more comfortable than that. Wow.
Also, if LSU loses, I think it will be a horserace between Cal and Ohio State for #1. BC might even get a first place vote or two. Ohio State is looking fantastic against Purdue. Cal had a bye this week but has still looked pretty decent.
You better believe we'll have further comment on this stuff tomorrow.
