Lost in the hysteria of the #1 and #2 teams losing was the stunning victory Temple pulled off. Trailing 20-3 on the road heading into the 4th quarter, Temple pulled off an incredible upset over the Zips, winning 24-20. The win puts Temple at 2-2 in the MAC, 1.5 games behind East Division leaders Miami (OH) who sit at 3-0. Who does Temple play next week? None other than those RedHawks. Another upset and Temple can find themselves in the thick of the race for a berth in the MAC Championship Game. They'll still have to leapfrog Buffalo in the division (who beat Temple 42-7 earlier in the year) but hey, crazier things have happened this year. They're no USF (they're barely a Duke) but Temple is on the rise, no doubt about it.
